Tampa Mayor Proclaims November 15th, 2008: "CAIR Day".....
Why not "Muslim Brotherhood Day" or "Unindicted Co-Conspirator in Hamas Funding Case Day"?.....
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) held its 6th annual banquet Saturday at the Tampa Convention Center. Speakers included Georgetown University professor John Esposito and U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, the first Muslim in Congress.
Ellison detailed some of the challenges that Muslims faced during the campaign, including two Muslim women wearing hijabs being forbidden by the Obama campaign from standing behind the candidate at a Detroit rally.
One way that non-Muslims tried to define Muslims during the campaign was through mass distribution of the DVD Obsession, (still obsessed with Obsession -ed.) which characterizes some members of the faith as violent extremists. But a University of South Florida religious studies graduate student, Catherine Lafuente, said propaganda like that won’t influence her. She is not a Muslim and her father died in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center.
A civil rights award was presented to the Florida Immigrant Advocacy Center, and WMNF received a community service award. Maritza Betancourt is the city of Tampa’s Human Rights Investigator in the Division of Community Affairs. She read a proclamation from Mayor Pam Iorio.
“By virtue of the authority vested in me as mayor of the city of Tampa, I do hereby proclaim November 15, 2008, as ‘Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Day’ in the city of Tampa, Florida.”

This is part of the "hope" morons voted for 13 days ago. The hope was that every weirdo, wacko and turd would step out from under every rock and be heard. Well, they have arrived-every day since Nakba Day we've seen stories of the slimy scum coming out. It's only the beginning-we have four years of coming out parties to look forward to. Eventually we will be hearing about some truly weird wackos we can't even conceive of yet. I myself await "NAMBLA Day"
and "Bestiality Week" since they really could use some publicity-they've been "unfairly" marginalized for too long. And the Obamaniacs will do their damnedest to get these groups to be accepted by us.

* non-Muslims tried to define Muslims
It's easier to let muslims self-define:
"Death to those who blaspheme against [false] prophet"
"Europe you will pay. Your 9/11 is on its way"
"Behead those who [insert trivia here]"
And so on

* (CAIR) Day’ in the city of Tampa
That's nothing. The traitors and slaves to antichrist in the UK
have gone one better in the dhimmitude stakes, and are holding
"Islamic Awareness Week" again, to promote "communication and connectivity". That warm feeling you get, when a flying piece of
bus or Tube carriage "connects" with you, and severs an artery
or two ... or your head.

Tampa and izslime have a loooooong history.
It's nice they feel times have 'changed' enough to honor them.
Zip, did you know undisclosed members of the royal saudi family were flown out of TIA on Sept 11 2001 with the ex head of the FBI office in Tampa to a military base after the country was declared a no fly zone?
Anyone remember where the highjackers stayed and trained, was it.... Rhode Island? No... Wisconson?.... no..... Wyoming! No......Them high jackers, they was all be's from somolia or iran, right? ooops.
Don't get me started, the list is longer than any of you want to read.

Does Keith Ellison do anything but attend Muslim events around the US and the world? Seriously, check his agenda. He does not represent Americans or non-Muslims - he only represents Muslims and spends the majority of his time attending/campaigning/promoting at/for Muslim events/issues.
