Christianphobes....
PONCHATOULA, La. (AP) - The huge cross near Ponchatoula's downtown locomotive won't be covered with blazing white bulbs for this year's Christmas Lights Festival.
Instead, a second bar has been added to display banners advertising citywide events.
The cross was highly noticeable last year. But the American Civil Liberties Union said it would sue if the cross was lit up again for the festival that opens Friday.
Mayor Bob Zabbia said city officials don't agree with the ACLU but realized that they probably would not win, and lawsuits are costly. And, said Zabbia, "The law is the law. It doesn't make sense to fight something you're not going to win."

Would they be happy with a crescent?

No crosses for Christmas, but Muslim footbaths are a fundamental right all year round. Did I get that right, ACLU?

You got it, BC! ACLU doesn't get it.

Part of the anti Christian agenda by the left. Seems like you are getting it BC.

Elric66, I have defended Christianity so many times I lost count. One point I often make is that same-sex marriage is legal in many Christian countries, but gays are brutally murdered in many Muslim countries.
My personal belief is that religion belongs in Sunday school, but I am not offended by decorated trees, singing elves, flying reindeer, carrot-nosed snowmen, the phrase "Merry Christmas," or even a beautiful nativity scene.
The left forgets that liberalism itself stems from Judeo-Christian values.
