The pirates would hardly have been able to believe their eyes as they inspected the hold of their latest conquest, the Faina.

The Ukrainian vessel was heading for the Kenyan port of Mombasa loaded down with rocket-propelled grenades, anti-aircraft guns and 30 Russian T-72 tanks.

“They really hit the jackpot this time,” said a regional arms expert. “There is not much they can do with the tanks, but the RPGs and the Zu-23 anti-aircraft guns will soon find their way into Somalia’s arms markets.

“These are the sort of weapons that fighters in Somalia really like.”

Somali Muslims love those weapons that can fit in the bed of a pickup truck...although 30 T72 main battle tanks would look impressive rolling through burning villages..you would need trained crews and support systems to really make them effective...

RPG training takes about 15 minutes...Anti-Aircraft gun training a little longer...the Mulsims love to just point and shoot...if you shoot enough bullets you will hit something sooner or later...

Most of the villages the Somali Muslims attack are poorly armed and lack any plan of defense and therefore are easy prey to those with machine guns and RPGS...

And the Muslims seem to have plenty of bullets to send a-flying...
