Why aren't we firing back?....
Miranshah, 22 Sept -There has been yet another raid by US forces in Pakistan, and once again Islamabad governmental troops have reacted, this time by opening fire on two US assault helicopters which had gone into North Waziristan, one of the turbulent, semi-autonomous tribal areas along the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan over which the central government in Pakistan has power in name only.
The incident was reported by local authorities, who said that the shots from the ground by the governmental troops forced the two US aircraft to turn around and go back into Afghanistan. On Saturday, in making a speech before the National Parliament in a plenary session, the newly-sworn-in president Asif Ali Zardari warned that no tolerance would be shown towards violations of our sovereignty and territorial integrity, while at the same time reiterating his commitment in the fight against terrorism and extremism.

You know, if we really wanted to snuff out Al Qaeda and win the war on terror, we would have annihilated Pakistan 7 years ago.

Perfect example of what is wrong with getting mixed up in the Middle East... The people in the region cannot separate their allegiance to a country from their allegiance to their religion, the two are too closely entwined.
Maybe the founding fathers were on to something with the whole 'separation of church and state' thing after all, huh? Too bad the lefties are bastardizing that concept and using it to undermine society.

Pakistan is not the enemy. Dingbats in the State Dept and the Pentagon including the retard Bush are lapdogs of muslims. Former pres. Mushie prostituted himself and his "country" for $$$ while supplying the Taliban with arms and ammunition. Mushie was Bush and Blair's man in Islamabad. For seven long years the US allowed itself to be conned, time and again. Too late unless the US balkanise Pakistan like they did Yugoslavia. Sheeesh!
