The Mossad?......
General Mohammed Suleiman, a military adviser to Syrian president Bashar al-Assad assassinated on Friday, had close links with Lebanon's Hezbollah movement, a high-ranking Lebanese security official Sunday.
'Suleiman served as Syria's liaison officer to Lebanon's Hezbollah movement,' said the official, who requested anonymity.
According to the source, Suleiman was shot dead by a sniper in the Syrian port city of Tartous.
His funeral service will be held on Sunday in Suleiman's home-town of Driekesh, which is located less than 20 kilometres away from Tartous.
According to the Lebanese official, Suleiman also had very close links with Imad Mughaniyeh, the former military commander of Hezbollah, who was assassinated in February in Damascus.
