The Ethiopian Army is the only thing keeping al-Qaeda from overrunning the interim Somali government. Once they're gone, it will be a cake walk and al-Qaeda will have control of another country......
Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi says his country's forces are ready to leave Somalia. He made his statement in an interview with the Financial Times. Mr Meles says the operation is costing too much money. According to the prime minister, Ethiopia is becoming increasingly frustrated at the continuing instability of the Somalian interim government.
The Ethiopian government sent troops into Somalia at the end of 2006 to drive Islamist rebels from the capital Mogadishu. However, discord among cabinet members has increased ever since the transitional government was re-installed. The instability of the cabinet has played into the hands of the insurgents, who have continued their attacks.

Has it ever occurred to you that it is wrong for the ethiopia army to brutally occupy somalia
To kill and rape the somali population.
To terrorise the somali population and bombarded the capital city, making 1.5 million people flee their homes and 3.5 million people on the verge of famine.
Has it occurred to you that the ethiopians have killed over 15, 000 somalis since the invasion of somallia.
Yeah i forgot to say that the people of Somalia don't matter.

One possible solution would be to back the anti-Koranist groups and seal the borders so that none of the crazies can get out if they manage to seize control. Let the Somalis handle it and if they can't then a virtual quarantine should keep the mess from spilling outside the country's borders.
