(IsraelNN.com) The National Court in Spain has accepted a Palestinian Authority courtsuit that was filed less than a month ago, and orders the arrest of Binyamin Ben-Eliezer. The explanation: He oversaw the killing of arch-Palestinian terrorist Salah Shehada.
The Spanish court has also ordered the arrest of former IDF Chief of Staff Moshe Yaalon and other IDF officials, both past and present, for the same reason.
The arrest orders are to be executed immediately upon the officials' setting foot on Spanish soil.
Shehada was killed in an Israel Air Force strike in July 2002, shortly before his plans to send a truck loaded with 600 kilograms of explosives to a Jewish celebration in Gush Katif were to be implemented. Slated to succeed Sheikh Ahmed Yassin as leader of Hamas, Shehada was responsible for hundreds of attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers, and the deaths of dozens of Israelis

I dont get it. Why would Spain want to issue an arrest warrant for a "crime" that happened outside its borders against a non Spanish "victim' by a non Spanish "suspect"?

Very true Pulsar. Has anyone in the EU ever issued an arrest warrant against Pali terrorists? Hell no. The bias is so strong it stinks.

They are grasping at straws, They are not winning militarily, they need something to bolster their Muslim minions morale. If they can't kill the enemy on the battlefield, they will try to kill they in the courts..They have discovered courts don't call in airstrikes.

Zip-- I know, I know, but its making me rather crazy!! I don't get this Neville Chamberlin act a large section of the West is engaging in at the moment.
