The Druze have become one of our best allies in Lebanon, they are known as fierce fighters who despite their relatively small numbers were some of the most feared warriors during the Lebanese Civil War....

BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) -- Heavy fighting broke out Sunday between supporters of Lebanon's Western-backed government and opposition followers in the central mountains overlooking the capital, security officials said.

The violence came after overnight clashes in northern Lebanon left one woman dead, bringing the toll across the country for the past five days to 38 -- the worst sectarian violence since Lebanon's 1975-1990 civil war.

Sunday's fighting between pro-government supporters of Druse leader Walid Jumblatt and Shiite gunmen started in Aytat around 2 p.m., involving exchanges of rocket and machine gunfire. There also were sporadic gunbattles in the eastern Bekaa Valley.

The streets of Beirut, the focus of bloody sectarian clashes between Sunnis and Shiites for four days, were largely deserted on Sunday, a day off in Lebanon. However, many roads remained blocked by the ongoing civil disobedience campaign

Druze defeated Hizballah in 7 heavy fights across the mountain areas. They even tried to cross the chouf region using anti aircraft and canons, and Druze fought them with small weapons and killed 35 Hizballah terorists and injured 250.
The Druze fought for their families, homes and country.

Next time Hizb allah tries something the lebanese will kick his ass, as usual he hides under the ground like a rate.

True that Jumblatt asked for a seize fire but he did that so the country does not slip into civil war again and becuase he knows that the idiots in the Hizb will not dare to try warring with the druze again.To know how things went it is enough to say that we declared our losses and celbrated our martyrs where as the Hizb did not and denied their losses amongst them was the son of the idiot Naim Kassem.They told their people that he died in a car accident in Tehran!!! what a coincidece!!!!.Also they buried their dead in the dead of the night;what a shame
