France Regulates Country Western Line Dancing. Yes, Really.....
Socialism meets bad, bad, bad music (sorry, can't stand country music).....
They turn out in their hundreds in Stetsons and boots as hits such as the Crazy Foot Mambo and the Cowboy Strut echo around their village halls. They are drawn by a love of American culture - although definitely not American politics - and a passion for line dancing, which enables them to swing but avoid all human contact.
Now country and western has become so big in France that the country's bureaucrats have decided to bring the craze under state control.
The French administration has moved to create an official country dancing diploma as part of a drive to regulate the fad. Authorised instructors who have been on publicly funded training courses will be put in charge of line dancing lessons and balls.
The rules, which come into force next year, come after the rapid spread of country and western in France, where an estimated 100,000 people line dance several times a week. Jean Chauveau, the chairman of the country section of the French Dance Federation, said: “It's growing at a crazy rate. There are thousands of clubs and more are springing up all the time.”

I would say that reports of the demise of the Great American Hegemony are greatly exaggerated. I'll bet they love that Achy-Breaky Heart song too!

Fuck Fwance.
If you read the article in its entirety, some Fwench cow says she loves the "American dream" but hates Americans.

The French don't deserve to enjoy country music OR line dancing. We should give them an cease & desist ultimatum and then nuke them. I really can't envision any other course of action.

I for one do not see any alernative to the course of action advised by Mr. Cracker Kevin. It is obviously the only way to go.

"some Fwench cow says she loves the "American dream" but hates Americans."
That's nothing unusual as many Americans and Europeans love France yet hate the French.

Mark Twain said that France is usually run by prostitutes.

Yes, but only Germany ever does anything about it.

We gave France freedom not once, but twice and yet they hate the US. Excuse me while I go get some "FReedom Fries". France is still aiding and abetting the NOrth African terrorists and Islam in general. Algeria is really Southern France.

On one of my trips to France, a guy I was with was sitting in the hotel cafe area before we had to go to work and two young frenchmen were at the counter and one of them said to the other, in french, that "the fucking Americans are everywhere. I wish they'd just leave." Unbeknownst to the young french turds, my friend speaks perfect french and casually got up, walked over to where they were sitting, set his coffee cup down and in fluent and eloquently spoken french said "you wouldn't have said that when the fucking Nazis were here" and walked away. Needless to say, the frogs jaws about dropped to the countertop. Like a previous poster said "Fuck Fwance".

John,
Its funny they want us to leave when they imported their own destruction. I wonder if they will be calling when Europe is in full civil war.

The Fwench suffer from an inferiority complex. If you rolled over every time Germany goosewalked into your country, you'd have low self esteem too...
But then the Fwench have always been cowardly people.
