Obama: "I Didn't Know Wright was a Racist Douchebag, I Swear"....
Lying motherfucker....
Barack Obama, declaring “that’s enough,” denounced Tuesday as “appalling” and “ridiculous” comments made in the last few days by his former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr.
In a press conference in North Carolina, the Illinois senator used his strongest language to date to condemn Wright’s controversial sermons, which have remained a burden on his campaign since they became national news more than a month ago. Wright spoke Monday at The National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
"I am outraged by the comments that were made, and saddened over the spectacle that we saw yesterday,” Obama said.
He disputed characterizations of Wright as his mentor saying: “He was never my spiritual adviser, he was never my spiritual mentor — he was my pastor.”
He said he is still a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago but noted the controversy “obviously has put strains on that relationship.”
Obama said Wright’s assertion that the U.S. government was somehow responsible for afflicting the black community with HIV was “ridiculous.” He said he was offended by Wright’s argument that the United States brought terrorism upon itself by committing similar acts overseas. Wright repeated that argument Monday.
Fun facts:
The name of Obama's book “The Audacity of Hope,” was taken from a sermon by Wright.
He presided over Obama's wedding.
Wright was scheduled to speak at Obama's presidential announcement (Barack canceled after his comments become known)
From January 21, 2007: "Obama says that rather than advising him on strategy, Wright helps keep his priorities straight and his moral compass calibrated"
Last fall, Obama approached Wright to broach the possibility of running for president. Wright cautioned Obama not to let politics change him, but he also encouraged Obama, win or lose…

Now he's going to disown him? HA!
It's too late for Obama. He is stuck between a rock and a hard place:
1. If he "disowns" Wright, then he has backpedaled on his prior statements and 20 years of association with the reverend of hate. Not good for consistency or integrity.
2. If he says nothing or mildly rebukes him, he will be seen as in favor of Wright and his "teachings".
Now Obama is going for option number one, and it'll be fun to see Hillary jump on him for it.

Atheling,
Pathetic, isn't it?...

I smell a rat. Hussein Obama and his preacher cooked this up between them: Wright goes to the NAACP and NPC and mouthes his usual racist cant, Obama then condemns it and (as the scenario reads) the "issue" of Wright's, Obama's and that 'church's' racism is a thing of the past. Cynical, ain't I?

Merrimac,
I don't think Wright and Obama are that clever. Wright is a loose cannon who belongs in the psychiatric ward.
Obama is finished.
