Malaysia: Proposed Law Would Make it Illegal if Dhimmis get too Close to Muslims...
From that beacon of "moderate" Islam, Malaysia.....
KUALA LUMPUR: A seminar on Syariah Law review wants non-Muslims found committing khalwat (close proximity) with Muslims to also be held liable.
This was among the proposals made at the two-day seminar organised by the Islamic Institute of Understanding Malaysia (Ikim) and the Syariah Judiciary Department Malaysia.
Syariah Court of Appeal Judge Datuk Mohd Asri Abdullah said the seminar had proposed that non-Muslims committing khalwat with Muslims should also be sentenced accordingly, but in the civil courts.
“We don’t have the jurisdiction to sentence non-Muslims committing khalwat with Muslims,” he told reporters after closing the seminar on behalf of department director-general Datuk Ibrahim Lembut at Ikim here today.
“The Muslims can be sentenced in Syariah courts, and the non-Muslim partners can probably be sentenced in the civil courts, to be fair to both parties.”

This is why Islam is incompatible with the West. Its can not co-exist with democracy. They think its fair to try a non Muslim in a civilian court for being too close to someone of the opposite gender.

Under rules in past Caliphates, concerning Dhimmitude (non-Moslems living in a persecuted, second-class status in Moslem-dominated lands), Moslems were taught that they should force Dhimmis off the road or into narrow paths, so as to leave the sidewalk or road clear for the superior lot (the Moslems). Sounds like one or two Moslems have been forgetting the rules and getting too close to the Dhimmis. Kind of pathetic, really; on the one hand Moslems tell themselves they're superior and have to make everybody else submissive, and on the other, Moslems mustn't get too close because they could be corrupted by the supposedly weak dhimmis!

Lets not forget that Islam dictates that if you convert you can be executed for it. If it was so wonderful, why would you feel the need?

Funny, back during Vietnam times Kuala Lumpur was one of the ten R&R sites. During my two years I got to go to Sydney three times. Understandably, I was kind of sick of Orientals, I wanted to be around white people. That's called racial, not racist.

If you'll go to the original article and then read the comment at the bottom, you'll find something rather refreshing.

"The seminar also agreed to a suggestion that a new provision be created for apostates."
Very refreshing.
