Good: Ex-Pop Artist Turned Islamist Returns to Music. Bad: As an "Allah-Chanter"....
There's nothing like some Allah chanting after a long day of killing non-believers to help you wind down.....
Fours years ago Isam asked for forgiveness for his music career and announced that he was retiring for good. His new album is called “Ila Al Asi” To The Unbeliever
“Reciting isn’t forbidden by God, so I am starting a new reciting career,” said Isam.
The album features 8 recitations that were written by various poets like Naser Al Qahtani, Abdullah Bin Al Mubarak, Muhammad Al Muqrin, Hasan Hajaj and Saed Allah Al Sami. A number of composers also worked on the new album like Isam Aref, Abdullah Al Ghamir and Abu Mazen. The recitations were recorded at the Digital Bin Afif Studios in Mecca.
