Ill have to say that Western women who choose to convert of their own free will indeed have no brains.

Well, he certainly has the "going backward" part correct.

Thanks, ZIP, fascinating to see how an intellectual tackles the problems of Islam! He's right about Egyptian law, it is based upon the French Napoleonic Code (let's not forget that Napoleon's megalomania still drives the French with their present-day 'Eurbabian Union/Mediterranean Civilisation' concept. But the speaker still can't bring himself to put the blame for racism against blacks and sexual abuse of children squarely where it belongs: on the example of Muhammad and the texts of the Koran and the aHadith. As to covering a woman's head or her whole body, this isn't solely about denying her own free will (her brain) because in Islam only 'allah' enjoys free will and man is the slave of 'allah'; rather, that all-enveloping apparel women are forced into is a way of denying the very 'being' of the female sex, it's a negation of a woman's humanity and a reduction of her solely as a man's captive, his booty, his chattel. In Islam a woman has 10 'awrat' (shameful orifices) and she, herself, is an awrat in its entirety; that's the "thinking" behind covering her. Also, the complete trash bag gear is actively pushed by the Muslim Brotherhood as a means of spreading Sharia Law and the MB has been in conflict with the Egyptian government for decades while more Egyptian women than ever has forced into wearing it.

merrimac is right. The ancient Romans occasionally demanded that their slaves wear veils to keep them anonymous and impersonal. It's a method to deny one's humanity.
