Pew Survey: 23% of White Dems not for Obama Think He's Muslim, Disapprove of Interracial Dating....

Hmmm, I'm confused. I though conservatives were the intolerant, racist, Islamophobes?.....

In particular, white Democrats who hold unfavorable views of Obama are much more likely than those who have favorable opinions of him to say that equal rights for minorities have been pushed too far; they also are more likely to disapprove of interracial dating, and are more concerned about the threat that immigrants may pose to American values. In addition, nearly a quarter of white Democrats (23%) who hold a negative view of Obama believe he is a Muslim.

First, I have been telling people for as long as I can remember that the Democrat party throughout history has been the party to have the market cornered on racism and slavery. It took a Republican to end slavery! It took a southern democrat named Bull Conner to spread racism and general malaise that led to the assassination of MLK!
Secondly, why would anyone want to vote for 2 people, in BHO and HRC, who have less experience between them than any previous Presidential hopefuls?
Not to mention human nature. It is human nature for any person to exercise abuse of power when any degree of power is afforded them for whatever purpose. If those same people have a history of powerlessness, real or imagined, like Hussein or Rodham, being a professed black man and woman respectively. A woman, mind you who has been repeatedly mistreated by a narcisistic womanizer.
A coupling of extreme left wing ideals, ability to lie while smiling, this liklihood of power abuse and punishing of the white man, why, I ask would anyone vote for such people?
Thirdly, I know that I am beating a dead horse, but Mitt was the conservatives best chance at a proper president, but you people that voted against him have put us in this position to choose between an inexperienced, power hungry, liberal beholden to the crucifiers of all white men or an experienced, power hungry, liberal neck deep in Washington politics with one foot in the grave, who's only saving grace is his toughness on the GWOT. If he loses that, then he is just another liberal running for president, but with an R next to his name instead.

This is pretty easy to explain, but difficult to do so without sounding like I'm painting blue collar workers with a broad brush.

There's a large bloc of Democrats who are Democrats solely for the party's pro-labor positions. A large number of that bloc belong to labor unions themselves (or are non-union, but are pro-labor just the same), and if you spend enough time around a lot of those guys, you'll find many of their racial views...interesting.
