A Dutch judge is due on Friday to hear the petition of a Muslim group seeking an independent review of an anti-Quran film by lawmaker Geert Wilders to see whether it violates hate speech laws.

The petition, seen by The Associated Press Thursday at the Hague District Court, says the Dutch Islamic Federation "believes the situation of Muslims in the Netherlands today is comparable with that of our Jewish fellow-citizens in the 1930s."

The federation asked for a fine of $79,000 per day if Wilders airs the film, and a $7,900 fine for each future instance of an "injuring remark."

Yes, because evidently one politician, from a party that holds a grand total of nine seats in parliament, criticizing Islam is the equivalent of putting jews in ghettoes and making them wear stars on their clothing so they can be singled out for persecution. These people go beyond parody; if these assholes would just shut the fuck up for once, they would give their critics a lot less ammunition.

Europeans should take a leaf from the class action lawsuits in the US: start launching such lawsuits against mosques and moslem organizations in European countries for the huge costs to their infrastructures (like medical and security services) that having Moslems in their countries cost the working and tax-paying natives (in many European countries, the majority of Moslem population lives on welfare benefits and has done for generations). Hit the Moslem purses and you cut off funds meant to support terrorism and send a clear message about the negative aspect of Moslem 'immigration' in Europe.
