Gaza City, 5 March (AKI) - Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have briefly re-entered the Gaza Strip, killing top militant leader Yousif Smairi of the Islamic Jihad's armed wing, the al-Quds Brigades. A two-month old baby girl was also killed by a ricocheting bullet.
The fresh incursion comes 24 hours after Israeli forces withdrew from the so-called 'Warm Winter' operation that lasted five days and left over 100 Palestinians dead according to Palestinian sources.
IDF forces invaded the town of al-Qarara, located near the city of Khan Younis on Tuesday evening and according to Palestinian news agency Maan, killed Smairi at close range in a summary execution style.

My heart breaks for the little girl who was killed, but this is the price the world must pay when evil men threaten it.
But note, Israel singled out this filth, targeted him, and in a surgical strike took him out. One innocent casualty was the result, which is terrible, but how would the jihadis have handled such a thing? Set off a car bomb in a crowded market to kill a merchant? Blow up a school to kill a teacher? Kill dozens, or hundreds to get one?
Thumbs up to Israel! Take it to them on their own turf!
As for the friends and supporters of Smairi... keep your eyes open! Allah may be calling you to paradise soon!
