This guys has dhimmi in his DNA. He should have the blasphemous cartoon tattooed on his forehead and dropped off in downtown Mecca. Then he can apologize.....
The controversy in Denmark over the reprinting of one of the 12 cartoons satirising the Prophet Muhammad this week has triggered an unusual dialogue on social networking group Facebook, writes the BBC's religious affairs correspondent Frances Harrison.
The row began with Tuesday's arrests of three Muslims in Denmark said by the intelligence services to be plotting to kill one of the cartoonists.
All the major Danish newspapers next day rallied round their colleague, reprinting his drawing of the Prophet Muhammad with a bomb in his turban as a sign of solidarity.
But now young Danish
studentdhimmi Anders Boetter says he has decided to start a Facebook site called Sorry Muhammad to apologise to Muslims on behalf of ordinary Danes and also give them a voice in the controversy over the row.Anders says that in the last two years since the first printing of the cartoons, the media has built up a debate which is very black-and-white.
"I am myself an atheist, but I do respect any kind of religion," he says, adding that the cartoons therefore do not offend him but he understands that it "hurts the feelings of Muslims a lot".
During the first cartoon crisis in 2006, Anders says he e-mailed his Muslim friends around the world to apologise.
When all the major newspapers reprinted the cartoon on Wednesday he felt there needed to be a reaction from what he calls "everyday Danish citizens".
"What does hurt my feelings is when a Danish newspaper publishes these very mocking cartoons of Muhammad.
"For me this is not a matter of a drawing but the mocking of one of our minority groups in Denmark and that's a big problem. That is why I apologise for being a Dane coming from Denmark," Anders explains.
In the first 24 hours, more than 1,000 people joined the Sorry Muhammad network.
Anders' goal is to collect 10,000 members in 14 days - which would be a significant feat since the total number of Danes on Facebook is 300,000 so far.
He calls the response "shockingly fast" but admits that he has also received some hostile e-mails.

Somehow, I don't see this placating a certain group. Apologizing has never worked before-why should it now?

There is no Muslim terrorism. There is only Muslim response to Jewish-Christian (Israel/USA) state terrorism. Therefore, if any prophet is to blame for today's 'religious' terrorism, then it is Moses and Jesus and not Mohammed. Nevertheless, it is wrong to blame any prophet for the stupidity or racism of his followers. Finally, freedom of speech has nothing to do with insulting people or religions.

I deplore these disgusting views about islam.
This freedom of speech and expressing of opinion, should not be let to be insulting to other religions and 1.3 Billion people of the islamic world. Otherwise any body can insult others.

There is no real Muslim terrorism. What we see in the middle east is only a response to the Israeli state terrorism which has occupied the land of the palestanians and pushed them away from their land. If they are given their wright and a full state they will evetually live together peacefully. There is no reason to blame any prophet for today's sins of the politians. Is it wise to blame prophet Jesus for the terror actions during the 2nd world war which domenated the cristian Europe and later sebraded allover the world?. It is wrong to blame any prophet for the stupidity or the racism of his followers towards any other religion. It is wrong to relate political stands to religious beleives. Finally, freedom of speech has nothing to do with insulting people or religions.

Hey Mohammed, muhhamad, Mohhumid, etc.: You Islamist fuckers can kiss my uber-clean American ass. You filthy savages need to police your own peoples who are splodeydoping other Mooselimbs. Don't come here and act righteously indignant. It is *your* religion that is the scourge of humanity...not Christianity. Fucking Muslim terrorism is the rule of your ideology, not the exception. Look around the world. Everywhere there is a war or mass murder, Muslims are the instigators. You can hate and denounce those of us who recognize truth, but you can't change the fact that you Islamic assholes are savages. Don't worry, though. You and your kind will never have power over free peoples, just those worthless pieces of shit who claim Alalalalalalahhhh as their savior. Fuck off.

In order to analyze who, Jews, Christians or Muslims are to blame for what the monopolistic Western media, in one voice, today calls ‘Muslim terrorism”, it would be only logical to expect that this same media would be able to name just one apparent ‘Muslim terrorist act’, which was not a retaliation for a major harm or injustice done to a Muslim community or Muslim people by a Jewish or Christian political-religious group or state, Zionists, Israel or USA, respectively.

Regarding a previous article in newsvine.com, "Koran Manuscripts Discovery Could Cause Problems For Islamic Claims", I would like to say the following:
To believers, the claim by some non-Muslims that Mohammed did not himself write the Koran is irrelevant as belief in something transcends anything real or assumed real. At a minimum, believers don't care about such 'scientific' findings, as a maximum, it hurts or insults them.
Let Muslims themselves take care about the history of their book and Christians and Jews about there's! For, surely is research free for every investigating mind. But what to say to one's neighbor with whom one wishes to live in peace about somebody's apparent scientific findings and what not, is a matter of taste, politeness or private or political moderation, not love of truth in disguise of hate.
I do not want to know from 'scientific' or would-be such researchers that my wife with whom I am happily married, was, before I had married her, a 'call girl' - true or false!
Does anyone?

only ignorent people make mocking about others. The right ones try to study the life and achievement of other nations leaders before even making any comment about them. Freedom of speech and opinion must stop where others are annoyed. Otherwise it is very easy to annoy others. The laws of media and publications should insure freedom and respect of all parts. Without such laws we will be in a jungle !.

hi,
skh.pcola & Elric66
i request you both to know little about prophet Mohammed (may peace & blessings of The Creaotor of heavens and the earth be upon him).
i bet you cannot write in such manner again after reading/knowing about him through the authentic sources.
May God show us the right path and make us among those who strive for freedom of speech without hurting others' sentiments and beliefs.
take care.

Ghanibabar,
Authentic sources like the quran and hadiths? Yes I have read them.
Funny you mention freedom since you are a Muslim. I do want freedom. Freedom from Islam. Its a cancer that destroys everything it touches.

The Prophet is the best ideal to follow in your life…
He is the only personality in history to be followed in everything…
-If you are rich so follow the Prophet when he was a merchant traveling with his products between Hijaz and Ash-Sham and when he earned Bahrain's stores
-If you are poor so take him as an example when he was under blockade in the col (mountain pass) of Abu Taleb and when he emigrated to Madinah leaving his country without having anything…
-If you are a king so follow him in his "Sunna" (All his doings and sayings) when he guided the Arabs and was obeyed by all, even great personalities.
-If you are a weak person so take the Prophet as an example when he was accused in Makkah within the atheist system.
-If you are a conqueror, you can share part of his life when he conquered his enemy in the Battle of Badr, Honayn and Makkah
-If you are defeated, take a moral lesson from the Battle of Uhod when he (PBUH)was among his dead and wounded friends…
-If you are a teacher take him an example when he taught his companions in the Masjed.
-If you are a student or seeking for more education, follow him (PBUH) when he was sitting between Gabriel's hands learning and understanding his Message…
-If you are an advisor, faithful consulter so listen to him when he advised the people in his Masjed of Madinah…
-If you are an Orphan, you have to know that the Muhammad's father died before his birth and his mother when he (PBUH) was still a child…
-And as for children he was that cute and polite child living his first years with his child-minder Halima Assa'diyah …
-If you are young so read the biography of the shepherd of Makkah…
-If you are a merchant traveling with some goods, so notice the behaviors of the caravan's leader who went to Busra…
-If you are a judge or evaluator, so look at the Prophet's judgment when he went to Ka'ba and saw the leaders of the tribes about to kill each other because they were struggling about who is the one to put the black stone in its place, and the Prophet –of course- resolved the problem. And also when he was in Madinah judging equally between people no matter if they are rich or poor…
-If you are a husband so read the Prophet's biography about the honest life of Khadijah's and Aisha's husband.
-And if you are a father, so learn how to treat your children as he (PBUH) did with his daughters and grandchildren…
No matter who you are … you have the Prophet's biography; your guide and candle lightning the darkness of your daily life helping you to go through it to gain the hereafter….
He is indeed the greatest personality all over the world.
