BBC: Al-Qaeda Would Back McCain......

This is via Justin Webb, the BBC's North American editor.  Who displays the insanely hard-left slant the BBC is known for and even embraces, as is painfully evident here.....

Islamic terrorists want war. They want suffering - among others and their own people alike.

They would surely surmise that McCain will give them what they want. Bin Laden himself intervened with what many thought was the effect of keeping President Bush in power in 2004 with that weird tape just before the poll.

I think al-Qaeda would back McCain - that is not an argument for or against America backing him, but it seems to me that the vague assumption that the terrorists would back a lefty is lazy thinking...

Given that, the question is, what do we want? We want peace. Okay,... who is likely to give the greatest chance of peace on our shores, at least, being that terrorists will war no matter what? Only by RESISTING, FIGHTING and KILLING an enemy who's wet dream is to murder every American man, woman, and child in their beds can peace be brought about. You cannot negotiate with a people who have no respect for life, truth, or honor.
