Ron Paul Unhinged: "Neocons Ready to Bomb Iran, Situation in Iraq Deteriorating".....
For a guy who's running for the GOP nomination, his choice of language is eerily similar to the Dems. Question for Ron Paul. Since when is Iraq deteriorating? Violence levels are at their lowest point of the war....
Despite a recent National Intelligence Estimate finding that Iran has halted its nuclear weapons program, libertarian-leaning GOP presidential contender Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) says there is still "a great possibility" of US military action against the country.
Appearing on MSBNC's Morning Joe, Paul described what he characterized as a deteriorating situation on the ground in Iraq (wait, what? -ed.) and Afghanistan, and said the US was preparing to kickstart yet another conflict -- this time in Iran.
"It is getting worse over there," he said. "Afghanistan is getting worse. Turkey is bombing Iraq. And Pakistan is blowing up and we're getting ready to bomb Iran. A bunch of those neocons want to bomb Iran."
Asked how the US could justify military action against Iran in the wake of the National Intelligence Estimate -- which determined that the country hadn't actively pursued a nuclear weapon since 2003 -- Paul said he didn't think the report would do much to deter a strike.

Does he offer a solution on how to prevent Iran from getting nukes?

2 comments on that story. LOL
I don't care how well Ron Paul lists his earmarks, or how opposed he is to the Iraq War or the invasion of Iran. He is still a batshit crazy right-wing moonbat racist, fascist mother-fucker, and anybody who supports him is either totally naive about his views or shares the same views.

Ron Paul is a messenger of truth. Liberals should look at him closely. All but one Democrat, Dennis Kucinich, even comes close.
Hillary and Obama are owned by the corporate movers and shakers. They dance around the issues. That is why both parties have tried to block Paul and Kucinich from the debates.
We are at a moment where we should forget liberal or conservative ideologies and focus on preserving our constitution. Freedom should transcend our differences.

Things are deteriorating on the ground in Iraq...for Al Qaeda. For everybody else, they're improving nicely.

US casualties in Iraq are down, but the country is rapidly turning into a Caliphate in the south, with the Brits handing over power to Sadr's militias.
If the goal of the invasion was to spread the Iranian Islamic revolution, then it has very much succeeded.
