McCain: I Don't Want a Muslim President...

NEW YORK - GOP presidential candidate John McCain says America is better off with a Christian president and he doesn't want a Muslim in the Oval Office.
"I admire the Islam. There's a lot of good principles in it," he said. "But I just have to say in all candor that since this nation was founded primarily on Christian principles, personally, I prefer someone who I know who has a solid grounding in my faith."
In a wide-ranging interview about religion and faith with the Web site Beliefnet, McCain said he wouldn't "rule out under any circumstance" someone who wasn't Christian, but said, "I just feel that that's an important part of our qualifications to lead."
A Muslim rights group ripped the Arizona Republican's remarks.
"That kind of attitude goes against the American tradition of religious pluralism and inclusion," said Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations

And y'all [as in the general populace and as in the throngs of lemmings who apparently worship the ground Hillary and Obama step on] would be prudently advised to take Mr. McCain's advice in this regard unless you, too, want to be celebrating Ramadan for an entire friggin' month where absolutely NOTHING gets done and your entire world is turned backward on you every year. Why? Because you've not eaten or drank ANYTHING - water included - or smoked a cigarette - or had sex - or done ANYTHING even remotely constructive from sun-up in the morning until sun-down at night... My poor gardener was having headaches last week due to low blood sugar no doubt and hydration - I slipped him two aspirin and a banana and told him he had to eat something and then take the two aspirin... Who was it this week that blogged something about slavery still existing [it had to do with “Whitey wanting to keep the black man down – something to do with the whole Michael Vick thing that if he was Peyton Manning then NONE of this would have happened – don’t get me started on HIM - Vick, that is, too!] and strongly - it does - it's here - and if we/you allow muslim's to take over in the States, it will exist [AGAIN!] there, too! Okay. Enough ranting. Did I already make it fairly obvious that I hate Ramadan?!?
