BBC Readers Outraged That Columbia "Insulted" Ahmadinejad...
There are over 30 pages of comments like these, 90% for the homicidal maniac, 10% against....
Nobody has proof that Iran wants to build a nuke. Even if they would want to, they wouldn't use it, because the Iran would be invaded, and possibly nuked without any country on its side. It would be suicide and Iran knows this. Secondly, the IAEA is in Iran monitoring everything they are doing. Third, by the time they would have a nuclear bomb, The U.S. anti missle system would be up and running.
Stop acting upon fear, for there is nothing to be afraid of, except the result of acting upon fear.Daniel Klimm
I think what his visit will achieve is to show up the US administration for the lies it has spread about Iran and the Muslim world.
He will succeed, even though the pro-Israel lobby in the US is immensely strong and will work very hard to smear him. His visit to Columbia University is long overdue. It is time that the American people had access to unblinkered information.Bilal Patel, London, UK
He's the only leader in the middle east that is part of the UN that will stand up and be counted and not ride the American puppet horse into the Arena to slither in the slime of the American and Jewish murderous campaign to dominate and control the middle east, What I would like to hear is that he will continue the states quo against American and Israeli imperialism throughout the middle east and that he will go full steam ahead with the wink, wink, nuclear energy. Thumbs up to Mr Ahmadinejad.

I didn't watch the entire speech but the snippets I saw didn't present a raving lunatic. Frankly, on the holocaust, all he called for was unbiased and open investigations into its claims. He also questioned why the holocaust was being used to justify violence against Palestinians. Question is, if fiat creation can be questioned, why can't the holocaust be re-examined? And no WMDs found in Iran. I did however find his statement about there being no homosexuals in Iran rather farfetched.

Sorry, guys, but I am afraid you are getting the BBC website wrong. Try looking at the comments sorted by Readers Recommend. The vast majority of the most heavily approved comments are anti-Moron, not pro. This is true of almost all BBC comment threads, the BBC website pushes a left-wing, anti-Western, pro-Muslim worldview, but the majority of its readers manage to see through them.
