Philippines To Return "Ancestral" Lands Of Muslim Rebels

Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on Tuesday hinted her administration might grant the demand of Muslim rebels Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) for the return of their claimed "ancestral domain" when peace negotiations between the government and the rebel group resumes.

Arroyo made the announcement during the 16th anniversary of the Federation of Philippine Industries where she downplayed public fears of returning ancestral domain to the MILF in southern Philippines.

She said, "We have declared many ancestral domain regimes among indigenous peoples, I really don't see why anybody should be scared if an ancestral domain is declared for the Muslim people."

The issue of ancestral domain is one of the crucial points in the peace talks between the government and the MILF.

A video showing jihadists in what appears to be the Philipines has been advertised heavily on the Arabic language message boards.

The video, which claims to have been produced by the Moro Media Center, shows jihadists in the Philipines making statements and training. A full translation is in progress.

I hope so, my wife is Filipina (raised in the US) you won't find a country of more devout Catholics than in the Philippines, another reason they shouldn't be bowing to their small Muslim minority.

The muzzies are getting close to the "Enough" button. The American people will allow someone to push their buttons for an amazingly long time, it has to do with our appreciation for our land and gifts and our tolerance of those who are envious. But, what was proven on 9/12...was that when you press that button one too many times, it becomes "Enough IS Enough." Ask the Taliban who sat in their palaces in Afghanistan if they pushed the button one too many times.

And we are about there again. And when Enough is Enough happens again, it will be a return to our roots, to our forefathers. It will signal the March Eastwards. It will see the Lands of the Brits and the French and the Germans and the Poles and the Italians joining with the Americans, funnelling Eastward thru Turkey thru Syria and Saudi Arabia...Eastward thru Iraq and onward into Persia and Afghanistan, then Pakistan.

Soon....enough will be enough and islam will pay the price of its own existence.

Regarding the: Philippines To Return "Ancestral" Lands Of Muslim Rebels

I am a Muslim woman law student in the Philippines. With regards to this issue, this has been ruled by the Supreme Court in the case of Cruz v. Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources (347 SCRA 128)

If you could only read the original text where Justice Puno narrated the history of Muslim and indigenous people of the Philippines. We are the minority, the oppressed here. The land has been declared many many years back during the time of President Magsaysay. The IPRA law has been passed declaring these lands as owned by the Muslims and indigenous people.

Justice Puno elaborated how Muslims were driven from Manila to the South. They were the only ones who were know "forcefully" converted to Christianity.

Why not drain the swamp and control the supplies to these muslim villages, or intern them all in camps until the terrorists come out of the bush?

To Muslim woman who studies in the Phillipines, Muslims are NOT the oppressed ones here. THEY are the ones who forced Islam down the throaths of the animists/indigineous people of the Philipines. If you want to read history, you shld read the WHOLE history of South East Asia.

The Philipines'original religion was certainly not Islam. What the Cathollics did to Muslims was giving Muslims a piece of their own cake. SO, EAT IT !!

I wish people would learn about islam - any 'peace' cannot last longer than 10 years - no matter how much the infidel gives up to them - and it can be broken at anytime before that 10 years.
